Aluminum Acoustic Panel
Aluminum acoustic panels are a complementary product featuring an exterior surface made of aluminum or perforated sheet metal and an interior structure made of rock wool. Sound passing through the perforations on the aluminum panel surface is absorbed by the rock wool inside, contributing to sound insulation. The trapezoidal structure of the aluminum panel on the exterior surface creates a more rigid panel against wind forces. Aluminum acoustic panels are certified according to TSE EN 1793-2 (sound insulation) and TSE EN 1793-1 (sound absorption). Combinations of acoustic panels as the bottom panel of a sound barrier and transparent PMMA or PC panels as the top are common in many applications.
